Victorian Romance
A short love story
Send your messenger to my hotel with a note written with quill and ink, asking to pick me up at 7 PM, formal dress for a carriage ride followed by a fancy ball with dancing and an orchestra.
I will wear my finest ball gown with all of my jewels covered in an ermine wrap.
Your carriage will ride through the dark, snowy night. Your butler will announce your arrival at 7:00 sharp. He will escort me to the waiting carriage where he will help me climb inside to sit with you under woolen blankets. We will warm our hands over the hot coals placed in front of us by your butler.
He will pour champagne for us to sip as we ride through the snow covered town brightly lit with Christmas lanterns.
You hold me tight as we twirl around the dance floor to the music from the 5 piece orchestra.
This is how we fell in love.
