Naked Summer
Now is the time to take off your clothes
Man started to wear clothing to keep warm. Maybe after that Garden of Eden thing it was done because of modesty. But we are born naked and lived that way for millenia. It’s perfectly natural. Some people throughout the world still walk around naked.
When it’s better than 90 degrees out, do we really need to get dressed? I have been experimenting with this. Don’t get me wrong, I follow social conventions and wear clothes out in public. But in the privacy of my own home or property I can and do go naked sometimes. It feels great to shed all of the accoutrements of everyday life and be free. Naked is more comfortable than dressed especially in the 90 degree heat.
I’ve been wearing bathing suits when I swim for all of my life. Until this happened, that is:
This past weekend was exceptionally hot at the lake. I wore the Italian dress which was quickly and adroitly removed by Rex upon our arrival at the cabin:

This caused an immediate case of relaxation for me, and excitement for Rex. Nudity often leads to pleasure. Try it and see.
We spent many hours on the scorching dock and in the lake naked, as well. There was no need to struggle to squeeze a bathing suit over sticky skin. We didn’t have to sit in wet bathing suits or adjust them as we came out of the water. No need to peel them off our sticky selves, and no tan lines at the end of the day.
Many neighbors whom I’ve known for years cruised by our dock to say hello in kayaks, paddle boards or swimming. No one complained. I wonder if they envied our freedom.
Much of the country will have a heat wave this week. Before you know it, it will be too cold to walk around naked. Try it while you still can. Be free.
