It didn’t find me either until this past February. Similar start with a bad sore throat I was able to ignore enough to still go on my trip to Jamaica where my symptoms got worse as I unknowingly spread my germs all over the plane and the tour bus. By some strange miracle, my travel companion never got sick despite sharing space and a bed with me for 5 days.
