I aged overnight while I was still young. A 35 year old dancer, athlete, and mother of a 2 year old, I was paralyzed by a severe stroke in the 6th month of my next pregnancy. I was a dancer and a gymnast in high school, then an aerobics instructor and cyclist in my 20’s. Envy has been following me everywhere as I’m still limping and disabled 25 years later. It’s tough to watch seniors much older than I am dance circles around me in my retirement community.
